Pruning Crepe Myrtles

Can a crepe myrtle be pruned now (early November)? They are approx. 20 feet tall.

I would not hard prune this late in the year, as you will lose blooms if you do. That being said, if you do not mind sacrificing the blossoms, pruning now will not harm the tree. Trimming them back a little should be fine though, but do not take more than 1/3 from the tree in a given season.
