Q.Pruning Angel Trumpets being wintered in a greenhouse
Even though I’m in Texas, Zone 8a, I’ve moved all my outdoor plants into our greenhouse that we just put together. Since doing this about a month ago, my Angel Trumpets have just gone crazy with blooms. Since I’ll be keeping them in the greenhouse until probably the first signs of spring, do I need to prune them? I have them in very large pots.

Almost forgot, thank you for the link.

I most definitely don't want to prune them because they are so beautiful. I've still got about 30 or so blooms yet to open. This is our first year with a greenhouse so I wanted to make sure that even though they are in the greenhouse that they didn't need to be pruned. I would imagine then that the same will hold true for my Hibiscus and Bougainvilleas that are in there.

Why would you want to prune them and lose those gorgeous blooms? You can do some pruning when the flowering slows, but with a light hand, and you should be able to keep it flowering right along.
