Pruning And Caring For Camellia Shrub

We moved to this home in October. There is a mature Camellia shrub that was in total shade all day. It had tons of buds but no blooms. Looks healthy. We moved it to the front of our home where it gets morning sun, then filtered sun in the afternoon due to 3 palm trees in front of it. It still has tons of buds and since moving it, one way down in the middle of the Bush partially bloomed. That\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’s been it. Some of the buds look dark brown and hard. We live in Central Florida.Should I prune all the buds back, what type of fertilizer should I use, and when should pruning be done?

I would keep in mind that it may take up to a full season to heal over after each move! With this being said, it may be a season before you notice any normalcy return to the flowering habit.
