Pruning a Jade plant

I’m having a problem with the way my Jade plant is growing (see pictures). It’s gotten very leggy, and the branches are spilling down the sides of the pot. I want to prune it back to encourage new growth. Is there a particular way to prune it so that it will grow upright? I know that it doesn’t get enough light, but I have a very small apartment with only two windows. I had it outside last summer, but the leaves burned. I put it in the shade and it recovered. (I will be getting a large, spotlight-type grow light.) But the leggy, spilling-over problem has been getting worse for the past couple of years. I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Yes, you can prune your Jade plant and root the cuttings to make new plants.
