Q.Pruning A Christmas Palm
Can I prune away part of the palm leaves that are touching my Lani screens without cutting off the whole frond.

Christmas palms are self-cleaning and generally don't need pruning. Cutting off part of a frond will leave it open to disease and pests, plus pruning green fronds can stress the tree. If it is necessary to remove a frond, it's best to cut it off 2 inches from the trunk. This information should help:
