Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy husband wants to paint our house this summer. We have burning bush growing around the front porch. He has been slack about pruning them the past three years and now they are about 10 feet tall. What would happen if we pruned them down during the summer or should we wait until the fall? He would like to prune them down to a foot, but I don’t know if that would be a good idea.

Fall would be best if you can wait.
