Pruning A Black Eyed Susan Vine

I have a black eyed susan that wintered outdoors. Will it come back and should I prune it.

It is only hardy in zones 10 and 11 and you are in zone 8 or 9. So unless it wintered in a sheltered area, it probably won't return. You can prune it to the ground and see if it comes back. If not, they are easily started from seed and are available commercially.
