Q.propogating azaleas from cutting

Zone zone 9 | Anonymous added on May 10, 2019 | Answered

from your article you write: “If you feel resistance, roots are developing and you can start exposing the cuttings to a few hours of morning sun. In late summer, separate the plants and put each in its own pot. Keep them in a protected area until the following spring when they can be planted outdoors.”

… keep them in a protected area… PLEASE GIVE EXAMPLES or more detail

A protected area such as a porch or next to a house; protection from strong sunlight or a lot of wind.
