propigating figs

hi, i read your article on propigating fig trees (https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/figs/fig-propagation.htm). the second method discussed a “bottom end” and “the tip cut”. a picture here would be extremely helpful because i don’t really know what you’re talking about. if i’m taking a cutting, don’t i just cut on the slant. the article sounds like there are 2 cuts… may i have some clarification, please? a picture’s worth 1000 words! 🙂
thanks,
judi mosso
ware, ma
