Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI just propagated my basil plant two days ago and wanted to know how long it will take for the original plant to start making new leaves on top. Also, the original plant is black on top where I clipped it and has a little black streak along the side. Is this normal?

It will produce new side shoots in as little as a few days. The black streak is not normal and is probably a fungus. If you can, simply prune it out.
