Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comAll the articles I’ve seen indicate seed pods must be collected in fall. This is mid-June and in walking my dog, I collected a few pods that I spotted under a mature magnolia, thinking I might be able to start my own magnolia tree. Will I not be able to use these pods? Do I have to dry them out first? Or maybe they’re not seed pods at all, although they look like them from the pictures I’ve seen.
