Q.Problem with newly planted dogwood

Anonymous added on June 11, 2015 | Answered

I planted a dogwood tree a month ago. Initially, it seeemed to do well, even though we have had extremely high temps, but today it is losing leaves. It looks dry. I did not want to over water it but have watered every 3 or 4 days since it was usually hot here. I am in Little Rock, AR. Any suggesions?

Newly planted Dogwoods need regular watering. Daily water for the first two weeks would be recommended.
When the temperature rise you will need to increase water.
