Preparing Ground For Parsnips

Hi – I’ve read your articles on parsnips: very good. I’ve just bought a sack of Suttons organic extra. Could I add this to my soil now, instead of manure or compost? I hope to sow seen in a month’s time, say in middle of April. Thanks in advancde, Liam
