Praying mantis

How old are praying mantises before they lay an egg sac. I have one that I found a month ago. I’ve been feeding her crickets and she just laid a few days ago and now I’m wondering if she will lay an egg sac because she is on her stick and habitat for the first time.

They are wonderful to watch and here is a link to a website with a bunch of information on them. http://www.theprayingmantis.org/ ^[1] We had two egg sacks in our gardens this year and have seen many of them around the gardens this season as well.
