Q.Prayer Plant (Fred) Leaves Are All Brown

Prayer plant is 49 years old. Leaves are all brown. Some stems are still green. I don’t know what to do. It’s always snapped back. Help me! It would be like losing an old friend! I think it may have gotten too cold.

You can try trimming off some of the brown leaves and see if new ones emerge. They don't like cold weather or low humidity. Low humidity usually results in brown leaf tips. But if your plant is 49, it must be used to the humidity. Other causes of browning leaves could be root rot from overwatering. If that is possible, you can try replacing the soil into a clean container. Trim off any mushy roots. Here is more:
