Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy boss’s prayer plant has blooms all over it and is really growing. Why isn’t mime growing very fast and has no blooms on it? I have it in a well lit room by a window just like hers. Is there a male a female plant?

No, they do not have male and female plants. There are many reasons your plant may not be blooming. The first is that it may be lacking phosphorous in the soil. Some balanced fertilizer will help with that. Another reason is that it may not be mature enough to bloom yet, while your boss’s is. The light may be another factor. Not all light is created equal. A southern exposure light is very strong while a northern exposure window’s light will be weak and may not be providing enough light for the plant to be able to bloom.
