Q.Prayer plant

Zone 60471 | ladyq287 added on March 1, 2018 | Answered

Prayer plant was growing really fast in the 2 weeks, so I repotted into a terra cotta pot now after another 2 weeks it has leaves that are sagging down and closed. What do I need to do to revive it? Such a pretty plant.

It should not have been repotted. If the original rootball is still intact, then undo the repotting by removing the soil you added and putting the original rootball back into the original pot. This is a plant that has a small root system that does not like to be disturbed.

If you removed a significant portion of the original soil, then your Prayer Plant may never recover.
