Potting a Lime Tree

I have a small Tahiti lime tree in a 6-inch pot that I think may need repotting. Please can you advise if they like to be pot bound and what compost I should use if I should repot? I am currently feeding it with Maxicrop Citrus Fertilizer every 10 days. Can it go outside while the weather is warm or shall I keep it indoors?

Citrus trees in general do not like to be pot bound, so you will need to repot it and most likely soon. Use a soilless potting mix instead of soil from the garden. It will enjoy being outdoors, but make sure that you acclimate it when you move it out. This article will help with that:
