Q.Potting Mixes

Zone Federal Way, WA 98001 | sdb1147 added on July 28, 2020 | Answered

So confused. We have several different potted plants in our new apartment and want to know if there’s one potting mix for all. We have a Pathos, Monstera, ZZ Plant, Snake plant, and Majestic Palm.

All of them will do well with a general potting mix, but can benefit from mixing a potting mix with an orchid mix. This will allow better drainage to help prevent overwatering, which will be the main cause of most issues with all of these plants.
