Potted tulips

I got tulips for Valentine’s Day that I’m in love with. I have read online it is really hard to grow tulips back that have been forced to regrow. I live in Michigan and it’s cold all winter. I was interested in trying to replant the bulbs again just to try and see if they will grow back. I do not want to plant them outside though, I want to plant them back in a pot. I want to collect the bulbs and regrow them but how do I do this? My tulips are starting to wilt and turn brown. What is the next step? And when I get the bulbs am I supposed to take them out of the pot or leave them in the pot to see if they will rebloom? I’m kind of confused on if I’m supposed to take them out or what to get the bulbs to grow again. I have only had these tulips for about a week and half and I water them when the soil looks dry and I put them on the window sill all day. Thank you! I’m not sure how to care for the bulbs or what to do with them.

You have some options with your forced tulips.
One option may be just to toss the bulbs, not every forced bulbs will flower again.
You can dry and store the bulbs to plant out in the fall.
You can also leave the bulbs in the pot and attempt to reforce the flowering.

Here are some articles with to help you decide and care for your bulbs.
