Potted Hibiscus Plants

Should I bring hibiscus plant inside or cut back and mulch to leave outside for winter? Also, can they be covered if left outside?

Is it a hardy hibiscus or a tropical hibiscus? If it is a hardy hibiscus, then it can stay outside to Zone 5. In cooler zones, wrapping in burlap may be necessary for those that are potted. If it is a tropical hibiscus, it must be brought in for the winter.
