Our plant bloomed prolifically and now it is all seed pods. Should we remove them and would this help the plant start blooming again? Thank you.

Yes, removing the spent flowers can help the plant produce more flowers.
If the spent flowers are left on the plant, it will send it's energy to seed production.
You can harvest the seed pods.
