POTHOS leave with brown spots

Question

Hi i have a golden pothos that has been doing fairly well in its location. However, I am now noticing that it has gotten a few brown spots on the leaves. I panicked and cut them off the vines but did not cut off the whole vine. The pothos was hanging on my ceiling away from vents and i believe it had high high humidity. I have located the plant lower to the height of my dining table now.

Can anyone help me and tell me what these brown spots are and what to do with them? the picture below are leaves i cut off with a sharp box cutter.

Since this plant thrives in low nutrient I am not likely to say you will see signs of deficiency in this plant. You gave me the key hint, which was that it was in an area of high humidity. This will certainly cause a bacterial or fungal infection, as these plants can survive pretty dry conditions and neglect. I would recommend the recipe that I use. It is safe to use anytime and as often as you would like. Here is the recipe:

First, you will want to prime the soil with dolomitic lime, then spread wettable sulfur to Kill off any infection in the soil. I Also like to spray the plant itself. Mix a few drops of one or more of these ingredients into warm water with a spoonful of coconut oil: Rosemary oil, lavender oil, neem oil, garlic oil, cinnamon extract/oil and for really bad cases, also add clove oil.

Thank you Bush Doctor! Do you recommend repotting the plant? it is overcrowded as well.

i will buy dolomitic lime and mix it with my soil – is that how to do it correctly?
