Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have yellowish/tan spots and a few brown spots that appear to be further “dying” on the leaf. Also on this particular leaf (only one found with it), there is a black striping on the base of stem where it first connects with the the leaf. Is there anyway I can send a picture?

Brown spots 9and edges) in houseplants typically are caused by watering issues. I would first check to see if the plant is rootbound, which could prevent the roots from taking up water. That is most likely the cause. Additionally, it could be a fungus or even pests. Neem oil can help for both of these.
