Q.potato soil

Zone Anchorage, Ak | lewlcochran added on August 2, 2016 | Answered

We added sawdust to our potato box this year and it would not grow. In the past, this box grew well until we added the sawdust. How can we fix this? Thank you!!

It is possible that the sawdust came from wood treated with a toxic material which is harming the plants, or that the quantity of sawdust is too high and is reducing the fertility of the box.
