Pot plants for south facing balcony

I’m after some advice before purchasing some plants. I live in a flat on the 8th floor, and the balcony is south facing with glass “walls” and is covered so it doesn’t get any rain – and not much wind. I have two 80 cm (length) Lechuza balconera planters and three 21 cm Lechuza classico planters. I have also purchased the Lechuza Terrapon.

I would like perennial flowering plants in the pots but I don’t really know what to buy.

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you will be able to grow almost any sun-loving plant that can fit in your containers on your balcony. Herbs are great for small containers:

So are many annual flowers:

Here are some ideas for balcony gardens:

Since your balcony is enclosed by glass, make sure it doesn’t get too hot in there in the summer, or open some windows if plants seem to be getting overheated. That also means you can most likely grow plants through the winter there.
