Q.Possible survival of desert type plants in Pennsylvania climate.

Zone 17067 | Anonymous added on April 16, 2019 | Answered

We moved back to PA in December after 23 yrs in Las Vegas. While in Las Vegas, there were several desert plants that we planted with great success and would like to know if these plants could possibly survive in Pennsylvania. The specific plants are Baja Fairy Duster (Calliandra California), Mexican Bird of Paradise ( Caesalpinia Pulcherrima), Straight Up Red Texas Yucca (Hesperaloe Parviflora), Golden Barrel Cactus (Echinocactus Grusonii) and Beavertail Prickly Pear Cactus (Opuntia Basilaris v. Caudata).

Thank you for any information and advice you can provide.
