Q.Possible Damage by Eucalyptus Roots
We have a eucalyptus tree about 7 years old. It has been pollarded. I am concerned that a nearby 6 ft. high brick wall, approximately 2 ft. from trunk, may become damaged by the roots of eucalyptus. Can you advise me regarding roots of tree depth, etc. and spread? Will it be necessary to remove this tree to prevent wall cracking?

Eucalyptus roots tend to be shallow compared to other trees, going down about 6-10 feet normally. I wouldn't consider it a major threat to the wall; however, it wouldn't hurt to move it a few more feet away either...provided that you can dig up as much or the roots as possible.
