Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe live in Southern California – dry! Been planting succulents, but I understand this flower grows well in the sun and low water needed. My question is: I have dogs, not they usually eat plants or flowers, but are they a plant/pet safe? Do they only come in a ground cover type plant or are there some that are more bushy?
Thanks, will be looking forward to your response. Also, can you suggest other low (not ground cover) plants?

Portulaca is a ground cover plant, there isn’t a variety that will bush up. They aren’t poisonous to animals.
