Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am growing some poppies in my garden, how do I know when they are ready? Whenever I cut one down, all the seeds inside are white and sticky. Do I let them dry out inside the pod? When do they turn black? Basically, what does the plant look like when the seeds are ready?

Yes, the seed pods should dry before harvesting for seed.
