Poplar Trees

Do poplar trees lose their leaves year round? We're overwhelmed with so many leaves that we have to rake every day since the lawn is covered completely. Is this just a fall situation or do they lose leaves year round?!!

Poplars should only lose their leaves in fall. If a poplar loses its leaves in the spring or summer, it is most likely sick or is experiencing difficult environmental conditions such as a drought.
