Ponderosa pine turned red over winter should it be cut back?

It is 4 years old and this is the first winter the needles have turned color. It has green branches on the bottom

No, unfortunately these trees are so picky about treatment, that anything that does go wrong needs to be handled by a professional arborist that specializes in these trees.

They are well adapted to many climates, so you can be sure that it was not caused by temperature or wind. They are sensitive to fungal infections in areas that remain wet for long periods of time.
