Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a question regarding a pomegramate tree in my grandmother’s house. I don’t really know how old the tree is as I’ve seen it since I was a child so maybe it is 6 to 10 years old. I grew fine and used to have really huge and red pomegranate fruits but after a section of the tree was cut off because of the size of the tree, it no longer bears red fruit. The fruit grows but remains yellow through out the year and then rotts. Is there a solution to this?

It isn’t always possible to rely on color to determine if the fruit is ripe.
They should make a metallic sound when tapped. Left too long on the tree fruit cracks and rots.
