Q.Pomegranate fruit

Zone 5097, South Australia | Ramonadante added on December 17, 2017 | Answered

We have had our pomegranate trees (2) in a sunny spot for about 2 years, they both have beautiful flowers, which are dropping off before they set fruit. Is this normal for young trees or is our soil lacking in something?
Would appreciate your advice, regards Ramona.

This can be normal for younger trees, and also a concern if you are outside of their growing zone. This article will help you identify why these are not setting fruit properly: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/pomegranate/pomegranate-flower-drop.htm
