Pollination of Domestic Plum Trees by Blackthorn?

I have a nunber of domestic plum trees in my garden, Avalon, Cambridge Gage, Herman, Victoria, Avalon and Coe’s Golden Drop. I know which of these should pollinate which, but I also have a hedge made mostly of Blackthorn trees which flower at the same time as the domestic plum trees. My question is will the Blackthorn pollinate the domestic plum trees.

Yes, this is possible for them to cross pollinate. You would not notice anything unless you planted the seeds from the fruit. They would, then, express traits from both parents.
