Q.Pole Beans Won’t Set Pods

Anonymous added on July 24, 2011 | Answered

My pole beans look good (leafy green) and have been loaded with blooms for about a month, but will not set a pod. What could be the problem?

This extremely hot weather we've been having is probably the main issue. Plant's don't like it either. Do however, check in an among the leaves for bean beetles. You can brush them off into a container of soapy water. You may have to do that daily to get them under control. Don't water overhead, deep water on the ground.
