How do I stop pole beans from growing too high? How can I pinch them off and how do I do that last year? They just kept growing and no beans.

If pole beans are fed a lot of nitrogen, they're going to want to grow and grow, they forget about making beans. Other conditions that encourage leaf growth instead of flowers and fruit are too little sunlight, too high temperatures and humidity, inconsistent water.
