Q.Poinsettia Leaves Grow Very Small After It Lost All Its Leaves Months Ago

Zone Brooklyn, NY | Anonymous added on April 10, 2022 | Answered

I got my poinsettia in December it lost all its leaves shortly. The plant was struggling but I managed to keep it alive. Now the leaves only grow about an inch or less. A couple of leaves would get red and then fall off. How I get my plant to grow larger leaves and bloom normal?

As soon as the chance of frost has passed, you can move it outside. Remove the foil, it might be holding water. It probably needs more light if you keep it inside and some fertilizer.
