Q.plumeria

Zone 33615 | Judith Dostal added on February 21, 2018 | Answered

I have 7 rather large plumeria and all sustained some freeze damage from our cold snap. Do I cut them back until I see no black in the cutting and it is sappy all the way around or just til I reach firm stem?

Prune all of the black parts out. I would wait to do this until there is not more threat of frost for the best results.

Here is an article for more information on the care of these: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/plumeria/growing-plumeria.htm
