Plumbago

I live in Houston TX, we had an unusually cold winter and the plumbagos froze. How much should I cut them back? All the way to the ground?

You can cut it back pretty hard, but to be safe, I would leave some of the stem. Here is an article for more information on the care of these: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/plumbago/growing-plumbago-plants.htm [1]
