Please Stop

Question

Many of the ground covers you recommend in your articles are invasive! Please stop recommending things that need eradicated in much of the country because they are escaping gardens and crowding out native plants.

All plants have the potential to become invasive if given the proper environment. We provide gardening information to people in all parts of the world, and it would be very unfair to people in areas where certain plants are not invasive to not give information on them and their care. We must, also, think of others that reside in areas that CAN grow these, successfully.

Just as we give information on growth of these plants, we do give information on their eradication, as well.
