Lots of plants may give mosquitoes lots of places to hide, but they don’t really attract. Bromeliads hold water in their leaf cups, and mosquitoes are known to lay eggs in these tiny pools, so that’s one kind of plant that does attract the little pests. But in general, plants don’t “attract” mosquitoes in the way that flowers attract bees, for instance.
