Q.Plants Growing Around Palm Roots

Anonymous added on March 20, 2014 | Answered

My backyard neighbor has huge palm trees and their roots run through my garden. Nothing seems to thrive there (it is full sun as well). I need something I can plant there, preferably flowering.

You might want to think first about removing and controlling the weeds that are creeping into your yard. This article will give you some ideas: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/tgen/problem-tree-roots.htm
If you don't want to do this, look for plants with shallow root systems, such as holly, ornamental grasses, daisies, aeonium, and many others
