How far north can Crepe Myrtle trees survive, such as CT?

Normal crepe myrtle varieties will not survive in CT, but there are some new cold hardy varieties that have been introduced in the past few years that will survive there. We are not allowed to recommend specific sellers of these varieties, but if you do a search for cold hardy crepe myrtles, several come up.
