Planting squash seeds for blossoms

Can I plant squash seeds in a tub on my deck in order to get the BLOSSOMS? I don’t need the actual squash. It’s the blossoms I’m after ~ a wonderful vegetable in its own right. Can this be done? Would I get many blossoms this way or just a few? Thank you.

Yes, you can plant squash in a container.
The Male flowers are the ones you want to harvest to eat.
