About growing Pomegranate Trees. What pH should the planting soil have?

Here it says 7.5 – 8.0:

The last one, 5.5-7.5 would be more ideal. I believe the first article meant to say the pH can go up to 7.5 or 8, though 7.5 seems to be the consensus. That article has been sent to the editors for review and correction. Sorry, for the confusion.
