planting small azalea in october

Can I plant 2 small azalea plants in October (Zone 6 – Maryland)? Will they make it through the winter and bloom in spring ?

Yes, azalea shrubs transplant well in the fall. Make sure to water it and add some mulch around the base to help insulate the roots over winter.
