Planting pomegranate tree from the seeds?

Is it proper to dry the fresh pomegranate seeds in the sunlight before germinating the seeds? Or is it all right to plant the seeds while fresh and allow them to germinate?

Either dry or fresh is fine. It is recommended to remove the red fruit from around each white seed first. Then, you can either dry them for a few days (But in a cool place, not in the sunlight is best) or plant them fresh. Here is more information:
