Planting Persian Lime Tree With Compost

I have a gift of 6-foot Persian lime tree. I am in Florida, and it will be planted outside. Is there some kind of special compost to put with it when planting?

Regular potting soil will work fine. You need to make sure that it gets enough water. This is the most common reason limes in containers die. Here is some information that will help you:
