Q.planting peach seeds.

I want to try to grow a peach tree from a peach pit. How do i do that? I am having trouble understanding how to do it from the explanation online. Second do i need more than one pit?

Make sure the Peach variety that you are trying to start is hardy to your zone 5 growing conditions.
If you are just using a Peach from a store bought Peach, it may not be a variety that you can grow in your garden.
